Enyel De Los Santos Polanco is a professional baseball pitcher from the Dominican Republic known to play for the Cleveland Indians baseball team of Major League Baseball(MLB). Enyel grew up and had his non-professional baseball career in his birth town in San Pedro De Macoris where played at Liceo Gastón Fernández de Lino.
In 2014, the Seattle Mariners signed him as an international free agent. He started professional baseball the following year by playing for both the AZL Mariners and the Everett AquaSox. Before the start of the 2016 season, he was traded to the San Diego Padres.
The Padres made him play for the Class A Fort Wayne TinCaps that season and later promoted him to the Class A-Advanced Lake Elsinore Storm. He was also named a Midwest League All-Star.
During the 2017 minor league season, he spent it playing for the San Antonio Missions of the Class AA Texas League. He was traded by the Padres in December 2017, to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies called him up to the major leagues on July 10, 2018, and Enyel made his MLB debut the same day.
Enyel signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians in December 2021 and he has been playing for them even now.
