Nick Sandlin is a professional American baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball who was born on January 10, 1997, in Evans, Georgia in the United States. In his amateur career, he was known to be a sidearm-style pitcher who was known to have attended Greenbriar High school.
He had his college education at the University of Southern Mississippi where he featured in college baseball for the team Southern Miss Golden Eagles. At the college level, he earned the name Conference USA’s Baseball Pitcher of the Year as well as the National Pitcher of the Year Award.
When we get to his professional career he got selected by the Cleveland Indians where he began his professional career. The Indians selected him in the second round of the 67th overall selection of the 2018 MLB draft. In the year 2018, he was known to have spent the season with the likes of AZL Indians, Lake County Captains, Lynchburg Hillcats, and the Akron RubberDucks.
According to the reports, he gained promotion to the major leagues for the first time in the year on April 30, 2021. He made his major league debut which was against the Chicago White Sox.
