Franmil Federico Reyes plays professional baseball for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team. He is from the Dominican Republic and plays the position of outfielder and designated hitter for the team. He earns $4.55 million as an annual salary from the Guardians.
He was born and raised on July 7, 1995, in the town of Sabana Grande de Palenque in the Dominican Republic. The San Diego Padres signed him as an international free agent in 2011. That Padres assigned him to the Dominican Summer League Padres in 2012 where he made his professional debut.
During the 2013 minor league season, he spent the season playing with both the Arizona League Padres and Eugene Emeralds. He spent the 2015 season with Fort Wayne and spent 2016 with the Lake Elsinore Storm. He was with the San Antonio Missions in 2017 and he played in 135 games.
In 2018, he began the season with the El Paso Chihuahuas and was promoted to the San Diego Padres in May that year. The Padres called him up to the major leagues that year and he made his MLB debut on May 14, 2018, for the Padres when they played versus the Colorado Rockies.
