Franmil Reyes is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter for the Cleaveland Guardians of the Major League Baseball(MLB). Reyes was born on July 7, 1995, and is currently 26 years old.
Reyers hails from Sabana Grande De Palenque which is an area in the municipality of the San Cristobal province in the Dominican Republic.
In 2011, Reyes signed as an international free agent with the San Diego Padres. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Padres, where he lasted the entire season, batting.267/.360/.416 in 67 games with four home runs and 37 RBIs in 2012.
Reyes made his Major League Baseball professional debut with the San Diego Padres on May 14, 2018, against the Colorado Rockies where the outfielders Wil Myers and Hunter Renfroe had both been placed on the injured list.
The Padres traded Reyes to the Cleveland Indians on July 31, 2019, in a three-team deal that also included the Cincinnati In total, he batted.249/.310/.512 in 2019. Of all big-league batters, he made contact with the lowest percentage of pitches he swung at (65.4 percent).
The Cleaveland have recently put Reyes on a 10-day injury list after he suffered from a tight right hamstring and selected the contract of Oscar Gonzales of the Triple-A Columbus.
