Franmil Federico Reyes is a Dominican professional baseball player. He plays as an outfielder and designated hitter for the Cleaveland Guardians/Indians of the Major League Baseball.
He made his MLB debut with the San Padres from 2018 to 2019 in a match against the Colorado Rockies. Reyes was born on July 7, 1995 in Palenque, Dominican Republic.
In 2012, Reyes made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Padres where he spent the whole season. He played with the Arizona League Padres and the Eugene Emeralds in 2013 where he compiled a .292 batting average with four home runs and 34RBIs in 57 games.
In 2014 and 2015, he played for the Fort Wayne TinCaps where he posted a .248 batting average with 11 home runs and 59RBIs in 128 games in the former season.
Reyes played 2016 with the Lake Elsinore Storm where batted .278 with 16 home runs and 83 RBIs in 130 games and played with the San Antonio Missions in 2017 getting a .258 batting average with 25 home runs and .785 OPS in 135 games. He began the 2018 season with the El Paso Chihuahuas and was later signed to the San Diego Padres on May 14.
On, July 2019, Reyes was traded to the Cleaveland Indians in a three-team trade that had the Cincinnati Redds included. The Cleaveland Indians got Logan Allen and Victor Nova after the trade. Reyes has stayed with the Indians to date.
