Gerardo Carrillo is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization who was born on September 13, 1998.
Carrillo signed as an international free agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2016 and began his professional career the following year with the Dominican Summer League Dodgers.
In 2018, he was with the Arizona League Dodgers and Great Lakes Loons, and in 2019, he was with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. After the 2020 season, he was added to the Dodgers’ 40-man roster.
He started the 2021 season with the Double-A Tulsa Drillers, going 3–2 with a 4.25 ERA in 15 games (14 starts). On July 30, 2021, he was traded to the Washington Nationals in exchange for Trea Turner and Max Scherzer (along with Josiah Gray, Donovan Casey, and Keibert Ruiz).
