Carl Fleming Edwards Jr. is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. He was born on September 3, 1991, in the United States.
He began his professional baseball career with the Toronto Blue Jays and went on to play for the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, and Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball.
The Texas Rangers selected Edwards out of Mid-Carolina High School in Prosperity, South Carolina, in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft in the 48th round.
