William Taylor Harris is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Washington Nationals.
He has formerly played for the Colorado Rockies, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Houston Astros in the Major League Baseball (MLB).
He was selected in the ninth round of the 2006 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies, and he made his major league debut in 2012. He was a member of the Louisiana State University baseball team.
At Slidell High School in Slidell, Louisiana, Harris was a baseball player. He was a collegiate baseball player for the LSU Tigers at Louisiana State University (LSU).

Harris was drafted in the ninth round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft by the Colorado Rockies.
Harris debuted in the minor leagues with the Tri-City Dust Devils. Harris pitched for the Single-A Asheville Tourists in 2007, putting up a 1.32 ERA in 38 appearances.
He pitched for the High-A Modesto Nuts the next year, posting a 2.77 ERA in 49 games. In 2009, he only played in one game for Tri-City and did not play at all in 2010.
Harris returned to Modesto in 2011, posting a 3-2 record with a 5.55 ERA in 33 games.
Harris began the 2012 season with the Tulsa Drillers of Double-A and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox of Triple-A, posting a 1.02 ERA in Colorado Springs and a 2.62 ERA in Tulsa.
