The Minnesota Twins have signed Aaron Jacob Sanchez to a contract as a professional baseball pitcher. On July 1, 1992, Sanchez was born in the United States.
He formerly played for the San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball. It was in 2014 that he made his MLB debut after being drafted in the first round of the 2010 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays.
According to Major League Baseball in 2015, Sanchez was ranked as the Blue Jays’ third-greatest prospect, and as the 44th-best prospect in the whole league.
The Houston Astros (along with Joe Biagini and Cal Stevenson) traded Sanchez on July 31, 2019, in exchange for Derek Fisher.
