Trevor Richards, born Trevor Michael Richards is an American-born professional baseball pitcher known to play in the major leagues for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. Trevor has a height of 1.88 m and weighs 88 kg.
Trevor was born in Aviston in Illinois on May 15, 1993. He played baseball at Mater Dei High School in Breese, Illinois where he was also a student. When Trevor completed high school, he enrolled at Drury University where he played college baseball.
After his university education and career in 2015, he was not drafted by any MLB team so he signed with the Gateway Grizzlies of the independent Frontier League. After almost two years with the Grizzlies, the Miami Marlins signed him in the 2016 MLB draft.
The Marlins promoted him in April 2018 to the major leagues where he made his MLB debut. In July 2019, the Tampa Bay Rays purchased his contract from the Marlins. He was traded to Milwaukee Brewers in May 2021 and in July 2021, the Brewers traded him to the Toronto Blue Jays where he has been till now.
