Ryan James Thomas is an English actor who has previously worked in the film industry. From 2000 until 2016, he was best known for playing Jason Grimshaw on the ITV soap drama Coronation Street.
He won the twenty-second and final series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2018, playing Rafael Humphreys in the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
Thomas made his on-screen debut as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street on December 25, 2000, when he was 16 years old.
Thomas starred alongside Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), Sue Cleaver (who plays his on-screen mother Eileen Grimshaw), and Ben Price in the documentary Corrie Goes to Kenya in 2012.

Since 2017, Thomas has been in a relationship with Lucy Mecklenburgh. They met while competing in Bear Grylls’ Celebrity Island. On June 22, 2019, he proposed to Mecklenburgh. They are the parents of a single child.
