Cal Raleigh is an American professional baseball catcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.
Raleigh went to Smoky Mountain High School, which is located in Sylva, North Carolina. He then continued his education at Florida State University, where he played baseball.
In 2016, he was a member of the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he played summer baseball for his college team.
Over the course of 62 games during his junior year at Florida State University in 2018, he hit.326/.447/.583 with 13 home runs and 54 RBIs. Following the conclusion of the season, he was selected in the third round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft by the Seattle Mariners.
