American first baseman Michael Harrison Ford plays for the Atlanta Braves in professional baseball.
He had previously played in Major League Baseball with the San Francisco Giants and Seattle Mariners in 2022, as well as the New York Yankees from 2019 to 2021.
Ford, whose parents are Bob and Barb, was born on July 4, 1992, and grew up in Belle Mead, a neighborhood in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.
He is respectively of Irish and Italian ancestry. He was a member of the Montgomery Babe Ruth League teams that competed in the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth World Series when he was 12 and 13.
He transferred to the Princeton Hun School after his freshman year at Montgomery High School.
Ford played collegiate baseball for the Tigers at Princeton University from 2011 to 2013. He played first base and pitched, too.
