Jarred Robert Kelenic is an American professional baseball outfielder now playing for the Seattle Mariners organization of Major League Baseball.
His birth name is Jarred Robert Kelenic and he was born on July 16, 1999. Kelenic was selected by the New York Mets in the first round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft.
Later that same year, he was dealt with by the Seattle Mariners in exchange for other players. Soon after, he established himself as one of the most promising young players in baseball, and in 2021, he debuted with the Mariners in the main leagues.
Kelenic received their secondary education in Waukesha, Wisconsin, at Waukesha West High School. In 2016, he was honoured as the Most Valuable Player of the USA Baseball Under-18 Team, which went on to win the gold medal at the Pan American Games.
He has decided that he would play baseball at the University of Louisville throughout his college career. Kelenic was a competitor in the High School Home Run Derby that took place at Marlins Park in July 2017.
Towards the end of the month, he participated in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game. In 2017, he was a member of Team USA once more, and the team went on to win the gold medal for the second year in a row.
