A professional baseball outfielder with the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball, Alberto Rodriguez was born in the Dominican Republic on October 6, 2000.
As an international free agent in 2017, Rodriguez joined the Toronto Blue Jays. As the player to be identified later in the trade for Taijuan Walker following the 2020 season, the Blue Jays traded Rodrguez to the Seattle Mariners. Rodrguez was signed by the Mariners to their 40-man roster in order to keep him out of the Rule 5 draft following the 2021 campaign.
