Taylor Trammell’s full name is Taylor Walter-Lee Trammell. He is an American-born professional baseball player currently in the major leagues and plays as an outfielder for the Seattle Mariners baseball team. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2016 MLB draft.

Trammell made his professional debut that year with the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie-level Pioneer League. He spent the 2017 season with the Dayton Dragons of the Class A Midwest League and was assigned to play for the Daytona Tortugas of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League in 2018.

The Reds selected him to play in the All-Star Futures Game after the season and he was named the MVP of the game after hitting a go-ahead home run along with a triple. He was invited to the Reds’ spring training in 2019 as a non-roster player. The Reds assigned him to spend the 2019 minor league season with the Chattanooga Lookouts of the Class AA Southern League.

He was traded to the San Diego Padres in July 2019 and began playing for the Padres that year after they assigned him to the Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Class AA Texas League. The Seattle Mariners purchased his contract from the Padres in August 2020.

The Mariners selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues in 2021 and he made his MLB debut for the Mariners on April 1, 2021, when they played against the San Francisco Giants.
