Mike Clevinger Contract, Salary and Net Worth

Mike Clevinger

Mike was drafted in the fourth round of the 2011 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim out of Seminole Community College.

Mike was later traded by the Angels to the Cleveland Indians in a terrible deal that netted the Halos Vinnie Pestano for their bullpen.

Pestano had already been washed out of the majors the previous summer when he made his major league debut with the Indians on May 18, 2016.

In his debut start, he faced the Cincinnati Reds and gave up four runs in five and a third innings for a no-decision as Cleveland won 8-7 in 12 innings. In 17 games, including 10 starts, he was 3-3 with a 5.26 ERA.

Due to injuries to Carlos Carrasco and Danny Salazar, Mike was on the team’s postseason roster and was utilized four times in long relief during the Tribe’s march to Game 7 of the World Series – once in the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays and three times against the Chicago Cubs in the World Series.

In 5 2/3 innings, Mike had no wins and a 4.76 earned run average.
