Mike Clevinger Parent: Meet Lena and Isaac Donald Heller

Mike Clevinger

Michael Anthony Clevinger is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the San Diego Padres. Clevinger initially played for the Cleveland Indians before he got traded to the Padres.

Clevinger was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.  Clevinger was a student at  Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

He attended The Citadel for his freshman year before transferring to Seminole Community College.

He played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Cotuit Kettleers in the 2011 season.

Clevinger, along with Greg Allen and Matt Waldron, was traded to the San Diego Padres on August 31, 2020, in exchange for Austin Hedges, Josh Naylor, Cal Quantrill, and minor leaguers Gabriel Arias, Owen Miller, and Joe Cantillo.

Clevinger agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Padres on November 15, 2020.

The contract entailed a $3 million signing bonus and an annual salary of $2 million in 2021 and $6.5 million in 2022

It was revealed the same day that Clevinger would require Tommy John surgery and would miss the 2021 campaign.

Clevinger underwent Tommy John surgery on February 18, 2021, and was on the 60-day disabled list to begin his recovery.

Meet Lena and Isaac Donald Heller

Mike was born to Lena and Isaac Donald Heller. Mike has always surrendered himself in military life.

Lena, his mom was born in Hawaii and is the daughter of a Navy veteran.

Donald Heller, his dad was into the Military and served under the United States Navy Seals.
