Nick Martinez Wife: Is Nick Martinez Married?

Nick Martinez

Nick Martinez pitched 24 times for Texas in 2015, making 21 starts. He pitched in the starting rotation until mid-August, then missed the rest of August and only hurled four innings in relief in September.

He pitched 125 innings and went 7-7 with a 3.96 ERA. With 13, he led the American League in hit batsmen, and his K/W ratio of 77/46 was poor, although it was an improvement over his rookie figure of 77/55.

Martinez did not throw in the postseason as the Rangers won an unexpected division title that season.

In 2016, they won the division again, but Nick’s contribution was minimal: he made five starts in 12 games, winning none and finished with a record of 2-3, 5.59, and 38 2/3 innings pitched.

In 18 games with the Round Rock Express of the AAA Pacific Coast League, he was 7-6 with a 3.91 ERA (16 starts).

When 2017 arrived, he was back in the major league starting rotation, however it took him until his sixth start of the year, on May 19th, to earn his first win of the year, his first as a starter since August of 2015.

It was also the team’s tenth win in a row. He returned to the majors in 2022 as a member of the San Diego Padres rotation after a hiatus from 2018 to 2021. In the interim, he played in the Nippon Professional Baseball League.
