Zach Michael Logue is a professional baseball pitcher from the United States who now works for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. Logue was born on April 23, 1996. (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022.
Logue received his high school education from Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he received his college baseball education from the University of Kentucky.
In 2016, he was a member of the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he participated in summer collegiate baseball.
In the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, the ninth round occurred when the Toronto Blue Jays selected Logue to join their organization.
He was chosen to be on the 40-man roster for the 2021 season, however, he did not play a single game since the minor league season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
In 2019, he pitched for both the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Buffalo Bisons, participating in a total of 25 games (starting 24 of them) and compiling a record of 12-4 with a 3.67 earned-run average, 144 strikeouts over 125.0 innings worked, and 25 games overall.
On March 16, 2022, the Blue Jays sent Logue, Gunnar Hoglund, Kevin Smith, and Kirby Snead to the Athletics in exchange for Matt Chapman. The deal took place in Oakland.
