Samuel John Moll is an American professional baseball pitcher who now plays for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. Moll was born on January 3, 1992, in the United States (MLB).
Moll was chosen by the Colorado Rockies in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2013. He made his MLB debut in 2017.
Moll received her high school education at St. Benedict in Auburndale, located in Cordova, Tennessee. He attended the University of Memphis, where he was a member of the collegiate baseball team known as the Memphis Tigers.
In 2012, he was a member of the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he competed in collegiate summer baseball.
Moll was chosen by the Colorado Rockies in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2013. He made his debut in the professional ranks with the Low-A Tri-City Dust Devils,
where he tossed 30 innings and had an earned run average of 1.80. During the 2015 baseball season, he pitched for two different teams: the High-A Modesto Nuts and the Double-A New Britain Rock Cats.
In 2016, Moll was a member of the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, where he had a record of 3–5 with a 4.94 earned run average (ERA).
