Adam Oller is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 20th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.
Oller, a native of Conroe, Texas, attended Northwestern State University and played college baseball. He was a member of the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2015, where he played collegiate summer baseball.
By virtue of his 20th-round draft selection, Oller is now a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball. In 13 appearances with the Bristol Pirates of the rookie league, he had a 4.45 earned run average.
Oller pitched in 17 games for the Low-A West Virginia Black Bears in 2017, going 1-5 with a 1.59 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 45.1 innings of work.
When Oller pitched for West Virginia and the Bradenton Marauders of the High-A Bradenton Marauders in 2018, he had a 6.29 earned run average with 68 strikeouts in 73 innings of work.
On November 6, 2018, he was released from his contract with the Pirates. Windy City ThunderBolts, an independent Frontier League team, signed Oller as a free agent on January 4th, 2019. He pitched in four games for Windy City, all starts, going 2-1 with a great ERA of 0.67 and 45 strikeouts in 27.0 innings.
