Lucas Browne

Lucas Browne is a professional boxer from Australia who has also competed in mixed martial arts and kickboxing in the past. Browne was born on April 14, 1979.

When he knocked out Ruslan Chagaev in 2016, he became the heavyweight champion of the WBA Regular division. Between the years 2012 and 2015, he was the heavyweight champion of both Australia and the Commonwealth in boxing.

Browne began his professional career on March 20, 2009, when he was thirty years old. He knocked out his opponent in the fourth round to claim victory in his debut match.

Browne defeated Colin Wilson in three rounds on February 17th, 2012 to claim the title of Australian heavyweight champion. After a twelve-round unanimous decision victory over James Toney on April 28, 2013,

he was inducted into the Ring of Honor and became a three-division world champion. He knocked out Travis Walker in the seventh round three months later. In the first round, Walker defeated Browne.

Walker looked to have won round 7, but his corner intervened before round 8 could begin, citing Walker’s obvious victory.
