Chadwick Hudson Pinder is an American professional baseball utility player who currently plays for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. Pinder was born on March 29, 1992, in the United States (MLB).
Pinder received his high school education in the Commonwealth of Virginia at Poquoson. In both 2009 and 2010, he and his partner Kyle Crockett led their high school baseball team to victory in the state championship game.
Between the years 2011 and 2013, Pinder was a member of the baseball team for the Hokies at Virginia Tech. He took part in 150 games and hit.322/.389/.509 with 18 home runs throughout that time.
In 2012, he was a member of the Chatham Anglers, which competed in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the collegiate summer baseball season.
In the second round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, Chadwick Pinder was selected by the Oakland Athletics to join their organization.
In 2014, he was a member of the Stockton Ports and participated in 94 games, hitting.288 with 13 home runs and 55 runs batted in. The Texas League Player of the Year Award for that season was given to him in 2015, and he won it.
He started the 2016 season with the Nashville Sounds, but on August 17, 2016, he was promoted to play for the Athletics.
