Meet Stephen Edward Piscotty an American baseball professional outfielder who was born on January 14, 1991. Piscotty currently plays for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball and was previously known to have played for the St. Louis Cardinals. Born in Pleasanton, California he commenced his baseball life from high school to college at the Stanford Cardinal of Stanford University. He had his high school education at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, and with them, he was a shot-stopper and a pitcher combined.
He earned the title name in the year 2009 as the Most Valuable Player of the East Bay Athletic League. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 45th round of the 2009 round of the Major League Baseball draft at the early stages of his career. However, he declined the offer and enrolled at Stanford University.
He commenced his professional career with the St Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball in the first round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft in the 36th overall selection. The Cardinals signed him in the year June 16, 2012. He made his first appearance with the Cardinals on July 21, 2015, as a major league debut and was crowned in that same year as the Cardinals’ organization Player of the Year.
