Oswald Dair Peraza is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop who is now signed with the New York Yankees organization. He was born on June 15, 2000.
In July of 2016, Peraza became an official member of the New York Yankees organization after signing with the team as an international free agent.
2017 marked the year that he made his debut in the professional ranks with the Dominican Summer League Yankees. Later on during that season, the Gulf Coast Yankees decided to promote him to their roster.
In 2018, Peraza was a player for the Pulaski Yankees, and in 2019, he was a player for both the Staten Island Yankees and the Charleston RiverDogs. Because the minor league season was canceled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he did not participate in any games at any level of the minor league.
Following the conclusion of the 2020 season, the Yankees decided to include Peraza on their 40-man roster. During the 2021 season, he split his time between the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Somerset Patriots, and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
