Oswald Dair Peraza, who was born on June 15, 2000, is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop who is now signed with the New York Yankees organization.
In July of 2016, Peraza became an international free agency and signed a contract with the New York Yankees.
2017 marked the year he made his debut in the professional ranks with the Dominican Summer League Yankees. Later on during that season, the Gulf Coast Yankees decided to promote him to their roster.
In 2018, Peraza was a player for the Pulaski Yankees, and in 2019, he was a player for both the Staten Island Yankees and the Charleston RiverDogs. Because the minor league season was canceled in 2020 because to the COVID-19 outbreak, he did not participate in any games at any level of the minor league.
Following the conclusion of the 2020 season, the Yankees decided to include Peraza on their 40-man roster. During the 2021 season, he split his time between the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Somerset Patriots, and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
