Dominican-Haitian outfielder Estevan Haniel Florial plays for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball. In 2020, he debuted in MLB.
Born and reared in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Estevan Florial. Due to his mother’s birth in Haiti, he has dual citizenship in that country.
He was wrongly recorded as having been born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, during his first few years with the Yankees organization.

The agreement was subsequently nullified due to his inability to produce a birth certificate, and in 2015, he re-signed with the Yankees using the name Estevan Florial.
He played 57 games in his first season as a professional for the Dominican Summer League Yankees 1, batting.313 with seven home runs and 53 RBIs.
In 67 games among the three teams in 2016, he played for the Pulaski Yankees, Charleston RiverDogs, and Tampa Yankees, batting a combined .227 with eight home runs and thirty RBIs.
Season 2017 for Florial got underway with Charleston. He was chosen to take part in the July All-Star Futures Game.
He was promoted to Tampa in August after batting .297 with 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases for Charleston. In 19 games with Tampa, he concluded the season slashing .303/.368/.461 with two home runs and 14 RBIs.
He was given a promotion by the Yankees to the Trenton Thunder for their postseason, but he did not play.
