Randy Dobnak, full name Randy Travis William Dobnak happens to be an American-born professional baseball player. He plays as a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. He grew up in Pennsylvania where he was born on January 17, 1995. 

He played high school baseball when he was in high school at South Park High School in South Park Township, Pennsylvania. After high school, he enrolled at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia, where he played college baseball in NCAA Division II for the Battlers. After college, signed with the Utica Unicorns of the United Shore Professional Baseball League.

The Minnesota Twins signed him on a minor league contract in August 2017. He was given a signing bonus of $500 when he signed with them. He was assigned to play the rest of the season for both the Elizabethton Twins and the Cedar Rapids Kernels. He played in the 2018 season with Cedar Rapids.

During the 2019 minor league season, the Twins made him play for the Class A-Advanced Fort Myers Miracle and promoted him to the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings. The Twins selected his contract and called him up to the major leagues in August 2019 and he made his MLB debut on August 9, 2019, for the Twins.

He agreed on a contract extension with the Twins in March 2021. The contract was to last for five years and was worth $29.75 million.
