Tyler Duffey is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Tim and Shanna Duffey were the parents of Tyler Duffey, who was born in 2012. His sibling, Travis, is his older brother. Shanna, his mother, died in 2012 from a blood clot that resulted from her battle with breast cancer.
High school in Bellaire, Texas is where Duffey went to school. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Rice University to play college baseball for the Owls. There, he was voted the 2011 Conference USA Baseball Tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
