Pitcher Blayne Enlow, real name Blayne Chanlar Enlow, plays baseball for the Minnesota Twins. He was a native of the USA. He was born on March 21, 1999, in Sorrento, Louisiana, a city in the United States.
Blayne played baseball for St. Amant High School in the Ascension Parish of Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he had planned to play baseball for the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers, but changed his mind after the Minnesota Twins selected him in the third round of the 2017 MLB draft and convinced him to sign with them.
He agreed to play, and in exchange, was given a $2 million signing bonus. He made his professional debut that season with the Rookie Division Gulf Coast Twins of the Gulf Coast League. For the 2018 minor league season, he was sent to the Cedar Rapids Kernels of the Class A Midwest League.
He began the 2019 season playing for the Cedar Rapids before being transferred to the Class A-Advanced Fort Myers Miracle. Blayne didn’t play in any games since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the 2020 minor league season. He was added to the Twins’ 40-man roster in November 2021 after his contract was chosen by the team.
