Cody William Stashak is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently competes in Major League Baseball for the Minnesota Twins. He was born in the state of Minnesota in the United States.
It was on June 4, 1994, that he was born in the United States (MLB). Stashak went to high school in Mays Landing, New Jersey, at the Oakcrest High School, which is now known as his alma mater.
He played baseball in college for the first time at Cumberland County College, where he remained a student for two years before transferring to St. John’s University to continue his education.
His entry into the Minnesota Twins organization came about as a result of their selection of him in the 13th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.
Stashak was a member of the Elizabethton Twins in 2016, and then he was a part of the Fort Myers Miracle the following year.
In 2018, he threw for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, and in 2019, he pitched for the Rochester Red Wings. He has also thrown for other teams in the past.
Stashak was promoted to the big leagues by the Minnesota Twins on July 22, 2019, when the team exercised its option to acquire his contract and therefore became the owner of his playing rights.
On July 23, he made his debut in the major leagues of professional baseball by pitching two scoreless innings of relief against the New York Yankees.
