Hoby Milner is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, and Los Angeles Angels.
R. L. Paschal High School, located in Fort Worth, Texas, was where Milner earned his high school diploma before the Washington Nationals selected him in the 44th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.
He chose not to sign and instead continued his education at the University of Texas in Austin, where he participated in college baseball. After completing his junior year, he was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies.
He made his debut in the major leagues in 2012 with the Williamsport Crosscutters of the Low-A level. That same year, he also played for the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Single-A level, where he compiled a record of 7-3 with a 2.50 earned run average.
During his time with the High-A Clearwater Threshers in 2013, he appeared in 26 games and posted a record of 12-7 with a 3.83 earned run average.
