American professional baseball first baseman and second baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball, Keston Wee Hing Natsuo Hiura was born on August 2, 1996.
In the first round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, the Milwaukee Brewers picked Hiura with the ninth overall pick.
He signed with the Arizona Brewers of the rookie-level Arizona League and was given that team’s assignment.

With the San Antonio Missions, Hiura kicked off 2019. His contract was chosen, and he was promoted to the big leagues on May 14. On May 14 against the Philadelphia Phillies, he made his major league debut.
Hiura was demoted to AAA on June 3, 2019, by the San Antonio Missions to make place for Travis Shaw despite a great performance in the majors.
On June 28, Hiura and infielder Tyler Saladino returned to the Brewers while Shaw was sent back to AAA and utility player Hernán Pérez was designated for assignment.
Hiura’s first walk-off hit of his career came on July 28 when he homered in the bottom of the 10th inning against the Chicago Cubs. He committed the most defensive mistakes (16) among second basemen in the major leagues in 2019.
Hiura batted.212/.297/.410 in 59 games during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, driving in 32 runs and hitting 13 home runs. He ranked first in the National League’s with most second baseman errors (16), putouts (66), and strikeouts (85).
