Jace Ryan Peterson, better known by his full name Jace Peterson, was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on May 9, 1990. He is a member of the Milwaukee Brewers’ roster of professional baseball players. For the Brewers, Jace is a second baseman.
He was selected by the San Diego Padres in the supplemental first round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft after completing his undergraduate career. He agreed to join them and signed a $624,600 signing bonus contract. With the Eugene Emeralds that year, Jace made his professional debut.
He was promoted to the majors by the Padres in April 2014, and on April 25, 2014, he made his MLB debut. In December 2014, his contract was transferred to the Atlanta Braves. He was given a spring training invite by the Padres and was added to the Braves’ Opening Day roster. He was given a minor league contract by the New York Yankees in January 2018.
