Paul Alan Campbell, simply called Paul Campbell is a professional baseball player currently in the major leagues. He serves as a pitcher for the Miami Marlins baseball team of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He was born and raised in Massachusetts on July 26, 1995, in a town called Malden. He attended Malden Catholic High School located in Malden, Massachusetts where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team. He completed high school in 2014 and continued at Clemson University where he played college baseball for the Clemson Tigers.
He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 21st round of the 2017 MLB draft. He signed with the Rays and played with the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits in 2019. During the 2020 Rule 5 draft, the Miami Marlins selected him from the Rays.
The Marlins’ added him to their Opening Day roster for the 2021 season. He was called up to the majors in April 2021 and he made his MLB debut for the Marlins on April 3, 2021, when they faced the Tampa Bay Rays. He played in his first MLB game in May that year.
