The American-born baseball player Dylan Floro, whose real name is Dylan Lee Floro, was born. He plays baseball for the Miami Marlins as a pitcher. Dylan was born and raised in Merced, California, in the United States on December 27, 1990.
He played baseball for Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, California. After graduating from high school, he was chosen by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 20th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. However, he decided not to sign with the team and instead chose to play baseball in college at California State University.
During his undergraduate years, he played baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. The Tampa Bay Rays picked him again in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB Draft after he graduated. In his debut year as a pro, he joined them and played for the Hudson Valley Renegades.
In the 2014 minor league season, he was assigned to pitch for the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits. He participated in all of the Triple-A Durham Bulls’ 2015 games. The Rays promoted him to the major leagues in July 2016, and on July 7, 2016, he took the field for the Rays in his debut MLB game against the Los Angeles Angels.
He was taken off waivers by the Los Angeles Dodgers in August 2017, and his contract was then acquired by the Miami Marlins.
