American pitcher Sean McManus Guenther competes for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball.
Guenther, who is from Atlanta, Georgia, went to Marist School in Brookhaven. In 2014, he earned his high school diploma. Guenther made a commitment to play baseball for the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team.
Guenther led the Irish with five saves during his first season and was selected to the ACC All-Freshman team. He was also named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American.
