Archie Bradley Children: Does Archie Bradley Have Any Kids?

Archie Bradley

After pitching the first nine-inning complete game of his career in a 5–1 thrashing of the Jackson Generals, he was voted the Southern League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 4.

He pitched the final inning of a joint no-hitter against Huntsville the following week. Bradley concluded the 2013 season with a 14–5 record, a 1.84 ERA, and 162 strikeouts in 152 innings between Visalia and Mobile.

Bradley was sent to the Triple-A Reno Aces at the start of the 2014 season after attending spring training with the Diamondbacks.

Bradley’s agent campaigned for his promotion to the majors, claiming that he was simply being kept in the minors to allow the Diamondbacks to keep his previous deal for a longer length of time.

Because the Diamondbacks had the worst ERA in the MLB, general manager Kevin Towers felt that promoting Bradley would place too much pressure on the pitcher.

Towers told Fox Sports, “I know how it would be regarded if he came up: ‘Archie is going to save us.'” After suffering an elbow injury in late April, Bradley missed nearly two months of the 2014 season.

With a 75-pitch limit, he began making rehab assignments at the end of June. Bradley had a 3–7 record, a 4.45 ERA, and 75 strikeouts in his 18 season games and 83 innings in 2014.
