José Rances Suárez Quintero is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
In July 2014, Suárez signed an international free agent contract with the Los Angeles Angels.
In 2015, he pitched for the Dominican Summer League Angels and the Arizona League Angels, going 3-3 with a 2.97 ERA in 15 games (13 starts).
He was 1-4 with a 4.84 ERA in 12 games for the Arizona League Angels and Orem Owlz in 2016. (six starts).

Suárez was promoted to the major leagues for the first time on June 2nd, and he made his major league debut against the Seattle Mariners, earning his first major league win.
He pitched 81 innings and allowed 23 home runs for a 7.11 ERA. Before being optioned off the roster in 2020, Suárez had a 38.57 ERA in two starts totaling 2.1 innings.
On May 10, Suárez faced the Houston Astros in his first major league game of the 2021 season. He only gave up one run in four innings.
In the 2021 Little League Classic, he was the starting pitcher. In a 3-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians, Suárez allowed three runs on four hits while striking out four batters.
Suárez pitched his first complete game on September 4, 2021, against the Texas Rangers, allowing only one run while striking out eight batters.
