Noah Syndergaard

Noah Syndergaard is one of the professional baseball players known to play as a pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels baseball team. Noah attended Mansfield Legacy High School where he played baseball for the school’s team. 

He was drafted after high school in 2010 by the Toronto Blue Jays. He signed with the Jays and was paid $600,000 as a signing bonus. He was immediately assigned to the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League (GCL) Blue Jays to begin his professional career.

During the 2011 minor league season, he played for the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Appalachian League. He was promoted during the season to join the Class A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians of the Northwest League. He earned another promotion to play for the Low-A Lansing Lugnuts of the Midwest League that same season.

The Jays traded him to the New York Mets in December 2012 and played for the Class A-Advanced St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League the following season. He was promoted in the 2014 season to play with the Triple-A Las Vegas 51s.

The Mets called him up to the majors in May 2015 and he made his MLB debut on May 12, 2015, for the team when they played against the Chicago Cubs. He signed a one-year contract worth $21 million with the Los Angeles Angels and he has been with them till now.

Noah Syndergaard is the son of Brad Syndergaard and Heidi Syndergaard. His father Brad, is a horse breeder whereas his mother, Heidi, works as a customer service agent for Abbott Laboratories.
