Noah Syndergaard was born on August 29, 1992, to Brad and Heidi Syndergaard in Mansfield, Texas in the USA. Noah played high school baseball at Mansfield Legacy High School. In 2010, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram named him their Player of the Year.
That year, the Toronto Blue Jays chose him in the 1st round of the 2010 MLB Draft. Before this, he had signed to play college baseball for the Dallas Baptist University but after he was drafted, he decided to sign with the Blue Jays rather.
He was given $600,000 as a signing bonus. He started his professional baseball career that year when the Blue Jays assigned him to the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League (GCL) Blue Jays. He was assigned to the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Appalachian League during the 2011 minor league season.
He was traded to the New York Mets in December 2012 and played for the Class A-Advanced St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League in 2013. Noah started the 2014 season with a promotion to the Triple-A Las Vegas 51s.
He made his MLB debut for the Mets on May 12, 2015, against the Chicago Cubs. The Los Angeles Angels signed him on a one-year contract on November 17, 2021. The contract was worth $21 million.
