American third baseman and outfielder Joseph Taylor Ward plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Angels selected Ward with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He debuted in the MLB in 2018.
In 2014, Ward participated in collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League after graduating from Shadow Hills High School in Indio, California, where he also played baseball in college.
