Parker Allen Mushinski is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball. Mushinski was born on November 22, 1995. (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022.
Mushinski received their secondary education at the Argyle High School located in Argyle, Texas. During his senior year in 2014, Mushinski recorded a 2.10 earned-run average and 98 strikeouts in 51 innings pitched.
Mushinski did not get selected out of high school, so he went to Texas Tech University to play collegiate baseball for the Red Raiders over the course of three seasons (2015-2017). In his junior year, he pitched 37 2/3 innings and had a record of 3–2 with a 2.15 earned run average and 47 strikeouts.
The Houston Astros selected him in the seventh round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft, and he subsequently signed with the team.
Over 30 innings and three wins, Mushinski threw for the Tri-City Valley Cats in his professional debut season in 2017. With the Quad Cities River Bandits, he was 4–2 with a 2.33 ERA and had 114 strikeouts in 89 innings of work in 2018.
The GCL Astros, Fayetteville Woodpeckers, and Corpus Christi Hooks all used Mushinski this year, and he went 0–2 in each with a 4.35 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 62 innings.
As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Minor League Baseball season was cancelled in 2020. In 2021, Mushinski pitched for the Sugar Land Skeeters and had a 2.84 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 12+2/3 innings pitched.
The Sugar Land Space Cowboys welcomed him into the 2022 season.
