José Luis Hernández Urquidy is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. He was born on May 1, 1995, in Mexico (MLB).

Urquidy signed with the Astros as an international free agent in 2015 under the name of Jose Luis Hernandez and remained identified as such until the start of the 2019 season. He made his MLB debut in 2019.
