J. J Matijevic, the Real name Joseph John Matijevic is one of the professional baseball players in the major leagues. He is of American descent and plays for the Houston Astros baseball team as a first baseman.
Matijevic was born on November 14, 1995, in Latrobe Pennsylvania. He attended Norwin High School and the University of Arizona. He was drafted by the Houston Astros during the 2017 MLB Draft. He signed with them for a $700,000 signing bonus.
He made his professional debut that same year with the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League and also played for the Quad Cities River Bandits of the Class A Midwest League.
