Chas Kane McCormick is an American professional baseball outfielder who now plays for Major League Baseball’s Houston Astros.
He was born in the United States on April 19, 1995. (MLB). During his collegiate years, he was a member of the Millersville Marauders baseball team.
The Houston Astros chose him in the 21st round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft. In 2021, he made his MLB debut.
When McCormick was born, his parents were Robert and Nancy Jo McCormick, and he was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
He was the first athlete in the history of Henderson High School, previously known as West Chester High School, to reach 1,000 career points in basketball and 100 career hits in baseball.
During his stay there, he was also selected to the All-Ches-Mont League team four times. He was a baseball player for the Millersville Marauders while attending the Millersville University of Pennsylvania, which is an NCAA Division II institution.
McCormick was chosen to the All-SAC East team four times and became the all-time hits leader in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, setting career marks in hits, runs, RBIs, and triples at Millersville.
She was selected PSAC East Athlete of the Year and an All-American. McCormick was named PSAC East Athlete of the Year.
