Dillon Everett Thomas is an American professional baseball outfielder with the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. He was born on December 10, 1992. He previously played Major League Baseball for the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners.
In 2011, Thomas earned his diploma from Westbury Christian School. The Colorado Rockies drafted Thomas in the fourth round (138th overall) of the 2011 MLB Draft.
Thomas made his professional debut in 2011, playing 15 games while batting with the rookie league Casper Ghosts. He joined the Low-A Tri-City Dust Devils the following season.
Thomas joined the Texas AirHogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball on April 25, 2018. He hit.377 with five home runs and 19 RBI in July, earning him the title of American Association Player of the Month.
The Milwaukee Brewers organization bought Thomas’ contract on August 21, 2018. He was sent to the High-A Carolina Mudcats, where he played in 13 games while batting.293/.464/.341 with 5 RBI.
Thomas and the Oakland Athletics organization agreed to a minor league contract on December 3, including an invitation to Spring Training.
Thomas spent the 2021 season divided between the Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Mariners before he was taken off waivers by the Houston Astros on June 15th, 2022.
