A.J. Terrell is an American football cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Clemson and was drafted by the Falcons in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Terrell participated in 14 games during his first year as a true freshman at Clemson in 2017, tallying 15 tackles and one interception.

In 2018, he was a sophomore and started all 15 games, finishing with 53 tackles, three interceptions, and a touchdown. In addition, he scored a touchdown.

During the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, he scored a touchdown against Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa by returning an interception 44 yards for a score.

In 2019, Terrell was back in the starting lineup for his junior season.
