Aaron Monteiro represents the Washington Commanders as an offensive tackle in the National Football League. He is 2.01 m tall and 145 kg in weight. He went to Brockton High School, where he played high school football and was named to the Brockton Enterprise and Boston Globe All-Scholastic teams. It is also significant that he was named to the All-State teams for the Big Three Conference and ESPN Boston.
After high school, he went to Boston Collegiate and played football for the Boston Eagles. He started five of his six games as left tackle as a rookie in 2015. He started 12 of the 12 games he played in during his second season at left tackle. Throughout his junior campaign in 2017, he began each of the 13 games.
He started at left tackle and participated in 70 snaps of the season opener against UMass as a senior in 2018. Monteiro signed as an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins after being passed over in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was signed by the New England Patriots later in the season but released six days later.
He joined the Carolina Panthers in 2020 and has spent the majority of his NFL career with them on the practice squad. He hadn’t yet played in a game during the regular season. He joined the Washington Commanders team in May 2022.
